Fitbit trackers disappear from Apple’s online store

Apple has officially removed Fitbit from its online store; a search for “Fitbit” on Monday yielded no results.

Reports began circulating last month that Apple would pull the popular fitness tracker from its shelves. The news came as Fitbit expressed skepticism of Apple’s HealthKit fitness platform, giving repeated remarks that it was “evaluating” HealthKit but was in no rush to integrate into the platform.

While the fitness wristbands are still available for purchase on the shelves at some Apple Stores, according to reports, you can no longer purchase them
